WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. According to the following terms and conditions, we provide a warranty that covers repair of the product during the warranty period due to defects in the material quality or manufacturing faults. If there are no other indications in the warranty, these warranty terms and conditions are applicable to all equipment that is sold in LTD „VS SPORT“.
  2. General terms.

2.1.Before you begin using this item, carefully read its manual and technical specifications;

2.2.Claims for defects have to be made during warranty period;

2.3.If there are no other indications in the warranty, product can be exploited indoors, where the temperature is between +10 to +35˚C and the relative humidity at the 25˚C is no more than 80%. There cannot be any dusts or harmful substances that can cause corrosion.

2.4.If during transportation the weather temperature is below zero, the product has to be held unpacked for at least 6 hours in normal room temperature before turning it on.

2.5.When moving the product from another room, where the temperature has been higher or vice versa, do not plug it into a power outlet for at least 3 hours.

2.6.Products can only be plugged into a power grid that fits national standards (220V, 50Hz) and is in a good technical condition. If there are any voltage fluctuation, voltage filters and regulators must be used.

2.7.In order to protect products from damage during exploitation it is strictly forbidden: to keep product in direct sunlight, near any source of heat or magnetic radiation; to take off covers or disassemble the item in any other way; to put heavy objects on it; to use alcohol or any other chemicals for cleaning.

2.8.Any customer demands, other than the right to get a free repair of product defects, are not covered by our warranty and will not be met.

  1. Warranty obligations.

3.1.Warranty period commences on the date of purchase. The date of purchase is proved by the sales receipt or invoice of your original purchase.

3.2.Warranty services are provided only when the document of original purchase (invoice or sales receipt) and warranty card are furnished and when the defects or malfunctions are specified;

3.3.Warranty services are provided at Tilžės g. 60, LT-91109 Klaipėda, Lithuania. The client is obliged to deliver and get the product or its part for the warranty services himself or to cover transportation costs.

3.4.Technical services workers can arrive at the specified address for additional fee: in Klaipėda city – €6, in Klaipėda district – €0,70 for a kilometer, other parts of Lithuania – price is negotiable.

3.5.Product has to be delivered in a packagethat ensures safe transportation. If an item is delivered without packaging, seller is not responsible for mechanical damages made during transportation.

3.6.A client is obliged to check that he received the same set as he delivered while collecting the product. All later complaints about missing parts of set will not be resolved.

3.7.If a failure is not confirmed and (or) there are failures, which are not covered by the warranty, we reserve a right to put in a claim for compensation from a client of all the costs of transportation to a service center, identifying and repairing failures.

3.8.If failures, which appeared during the use of warranty period, cannot be repaired, the product will be replaced or a client will get a refund for the product.

3.9.If a part that needs to be replaced has to be shipped from the manufacturer, warranty repair service can take up to 2 months.

3.10.   If a client is informed about the possibility to collect the goods and fails to do so within 30 days of repair completion, „VS SPORT“ starts to charge a storage cost, which is €0,30 per day.

3.11.   If warranty repair services are needed or a part of the product has to be changed, the warranty period is not extended or renewed (i.e. calculated anew) after the repair or replacement is complete.

3.12.   Warranty does not cover repair or replacement of wear and tear parts (e.g. multi gym cables, treadmill running belts, bench cushions, etc.)

  1. Warranty will not apply, if:

4.1.Warranty period has ended;

4.2.Documents of original purchase (warranty card and sales receipt or an invoice) are not provided;

4.3.Protective stickers are damaged or removed;

4.4.The failures of a product or separate parts of it occurred due to technological or other type of wear and tear.

4.5.Product was not used for its intended purpose or was not kept according to conditions of exploitation, that were stated in product manual;

4.6.Product was mechanically damaged, disassembled or any foreign objects, substances or liquids got into it and caused corrosion, oxidation, etc.;

4.7.Failures were caused by natural disasters, such as floods, lightning bolts, earthquakes, etc.;

4.8.Failure was caused by high voltage or its fluctuation;

4.9.Exploitation supplies do not meet manufacturer’s requirements (e.g. inappropriate batteries are used);

4.10.   Failure occurred while using components or spare parts, which are not original or recommended by manufacturer or seller;

4.11.   Failure occurred due to software (e.g. computer virus or any other unauthorized modification);

4.12.   Failure occurred due to incorrect assembly of the product and it was assembled by a person who was not authorized by LTD “VS SPORT” .

  1. Resolving disputes.

5.1.All disputes about warranty services are resolved by mutual agreement. Should a dispute remain unresolved, it shall be resolved based on statutory law of Republic of Lithuania.
